REGISTRATION AND ENROLLMENT

​We look forward to assisting you in your homeschool journey!


Our three step online admissions process is easy to use.

Track your registration application and enrollment every step of the way.

Step One 

New Student Registration Application

To begin the New Student Registration Application you first create a personal account.  After your account creation you receive an email containing a verification link.

Verify your email (to help us prevent scammers) and log in to your new account. 

Next create a New Student Registration Application for your student.

You will have the flexibility to log in and out if necessary before completing the registration application (which takes about ten minutes).


Submit a New Student Registration Application with student and family information and your homeschool support preferences.


A $25 Registration Application fee is paid when submitting the registration.




Step Two  

Enrollment Acknowledgement Packet


After your student registration is accepted, you will be directed to complete the admissions process by filling out and submitting an Enrollment Packet. 

A student is officially enrolled in Branson Academy PSP when the Enrollment Packet is submitted!


The Enrollment Packet includes an acknowledgement of:

     Our services to help you in every way we can!

     Your agreement to facilitate the instruction of your child.






Step Three  

Set Up Personal Payment 


Payments for enrollment are managed through FACTS.  Parents set up a personal account and may choose to pay in full or with monthly payments.

The New Student Registration and the Annual Enrollment fees are paid after your student is officially enrolled and you have set up your payment account.

receive official confirmation the next regular business day.

WHAT IS A SHORT TERM ENROLLMENT?


Short Term Enrollments are one semester or less.  

For students enrolling mid-year or one semester

For short term home study during transitions due to moving or traveling or special needs

Examples of Short Term Enrollments

First Semester only - August 15 through January 31

Second Semester only -  January 15 to July 31

A two or three month enrollment while moving or traveling 

A senior graduating in December who is enrolling from August - December

A student transitioning from public/private school mid-year for second semester enrolls from January - July 31

CONTINUOUS ENROLLMENT

Continuous enrollment means a seamless process for you and guaranteed placement in our program for the coming year.

To continue enrollment in Branson Academy you do not need to complete a new registration or enrollment form.

WHAT IF I LIVE OUTSIDE OF CALIFORNIA?


You can still enroll in Branson Academy and enjoy the benefits of our program.

For state-specific requirements visit HSLDA.  

We enroll accept most enrollments of families residing outside California, as well as traveling homeschoolers, and international students.

We enroll English speaking international students where it is legal to do so.

Please check your state or country homeschool laws.

EXCEPTION:  DO NOT enroll if you reside in Washington State! 

Our California PSP is unable to accept enrollments from WA residents per WA homeschool laws.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?


After your child is officially enrolled in our PSP you receive access to K-6 or Grades 7-12 resources and instructions for Getting Started.

Branson Academy is an administrative PSP.  We do not offer classes or curriculum.

TIPS FOR A SMOOTH TRANSITION


A gentle transition will benefit you and your student!

Consider why you are homeschooling and how best to meet the needs of your child.

Transitioning from public school to home school requires a mental re-set.


Consider why you are homeschooling and how best to meet the needs of your child.

Don't try to replicate "school at home."  

Invest time in learning how your child learns.

Create engaging learning spaces.


Homeschooling is a lifestyle - children learn from a broad range of daily activities, including home chores, community service, and pursuing personal interests. 

Be patient with yourself and your child!  

​Praise to reprimand ratio at 2:1 or higher improves behavior and focus dramatically!
